Benchworks Launches New Division to Support Hospital Marketing
At Benchworks, we are constantly asking “What’s best for the client?” and “How can we leverage our expertise in innovative ways to achieve client goals?” Because first and foremost, Benchworks is a solutions provider.
So it should come as no surprise that we’ve launched a new division, Health System Marketing, to put our know-how to good use for hospitals, health systems, and providers.
Health System Marketing supports the efforts of health systems to increase brand awareness, grow their key service lines, improve the patient experience, and support population health initiatives—all through effective communications. Population health management is a clinical discipline that focuses on improving the overall health of communities served by hospitals and health systems. Key tools include prevention, education, and community outreach.
To us, our new division is a natural extension of the services we already offer our life science clients. “Benchworks is excited to increase its client offerings and become involved in another sector of the healthcare industry,” said Thad Bench, CEO and founder. “As Benchworks continues to grow, we look to support and partner with our clients to help them develop and execute marketing strategies that achieve their business goals.”
Leading this undertaking is Lisa Wolfington, who joins Benchworks as director of Health System Marketing. A marketing powerhouse and award-winning industry leader, Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in health system marketing, communications, and public affairs for hospitals and health systems across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Before joining Benchworks, Lisa led her own boutique healthcare agency for more than a decade. Her clients included healthcare industry associations, academic and teaching health systems, hospitals, health plans, and senior living communities in Washington, DC; MD; VA; and the Mid-Atlantic region.
Prior to that, Lisa served as vice president of Public Affairs for the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), one of the nation’s top trade associations. Its members include medical technology companies that manufacture medical devices, diagnostic products, and health IT systems. She led industry sector work groups with CEOs and COOs of Fortune 500 medical companies, and directed AdvaMed’s award-winning media campaign for congressional approval and payment of new medical technologies by Medicare.
