Benchworks Launches Innovative Webcast Solution for Healthcare Client

CHESTERTOWN, MD—Benchworks’ recent project for one of their major healthcare clients is a testament to the company’s ability to provide solutions for their clients outside of a typical marketing services box. The healthcare company wanted to offer their clients an expanded education opportunity about their brand by utilizing the services of thought leaders, or key opinion leaders (KOL), within their segment of the healthcare industry.

In collaboration with the healthcare client who arranges for the thought leaders to present, Benchworks established a customized webcast program for the managers and district representatives to share with participating physician offices. From handling the logistics of the webcasts to scheduling the six KOLs to present to multiple office locations, in addition to managing the related technology components, Benchworks launched an innovative webcast solution.

After coordinating with the presenting KOLs, Benchworks establishes the participation schedule with the district managers and representatives to attend the webcast. Benchworks then sends district managers a MacBook Pro configured with all necessary components for the webcast. The built-in video and audio features of the MacBook make it an ideal solution for allowing representatives to seamlessly participate in each webcast.

The client’s goal is to bring their own clients important medication news and related information from their KOL sources and Benchworks’ goal is to make the presentation process as smooth as possible for all involved. To accomplish this goal, Benchworks combines a unique set of event coordination skills with technology solutions and well-orchestrated marketing resources to launch scheduled webcasts. Webcasts are conducted by the KOL through the MacBook’s audio-visual system utilizing multiple formats in order to accommodate all technology situations.

The laptops are customized for each presentation adding value to the experience of the participant. The laptop may then circulate through the region for additional webcasts and once the sessions are complete the laptops are returned to Benchworks to be updated with the next series of webcasts.

Benchworks’ ability to produce and coordinate innovative webcasts has allowed their client to provide an invaluable resource to physicians through the use of new media and technology thereby strengthening their relationship with those in the field representing the brand. Benchworks also receives follow-up surveys about the webcasts and continues to improve the system while adding in new components to make the experience one of valuable education without any hassles.
