popchips Hires Benchworks for Marketing Services

CHESTERTOWN, MD—popchips are a new, innovative line of all natural potato chips that are “popped,” a process using heat and pressure, not fried or baked.  Hence, the popchips have half the fat of fried chips. popchips, Inc., located in San Francisco, recently hired Benchworks, a full-service marketing, branding and creative services firm in Chestertown, Maryland, to develop an Event Management Tool for their Field Marketers.  The tool will allow them to schedule, track and measure the success of all sampling events and serve as a central database for all data related to the sampling events.  This data can then be used by Senior Management to coordinate events and event budgets.  Benchworks expects to deploy the program in early July.

            Benchworks also developed and deployed an online ordering system to be used by popchips’ Sales and Field Marketing staff.  The online system will allow them to order inventory needed for the sampling events, including popchips branded apparel, tote bags, table cloths, and other event-related merchandise.  This system streamlines the ordering process for the staff.
